We often see Visual Kei-loving fashion model Bito around the streets of Harajuku. At 198cm (6′ 6″) tall, he is hard to miss! Bito speaks both Russian and Japanese. When we met him this evening, he was wearing feathered wings as part of a Ryuk from Death Note cosplay look. Even though Harajuku is best known for its avant-garde fashion scene, there used to be a large cosplay scene based around the Jingubashi bridge as well. Most of the Harajuku cosplayers disappeared around ten years ago, but we do occasionally still see Harajuku kids doing cosplay for fun around the streets.
