Talk about walking in a winter wonderland – Heisenji Hakusan Shrine in Fukui Prefecture is just snowing off now! π Aside from the spectacular cedar forest, the grounds are covered in moss during the warmer months and feature an ancient cobblestone walkway that was built by ascetic monks who carried the stones from Kuzuryu River while praying! ππ½
