Welcome to a winter wonderland – Togakushi Shrine in Nagano Prefecture! ❄️ With winter officially kicking off in Japan, what’s more fitting than showing off one of our favourite snowy scenes? Stretching as far as the eye can see, rows upon rows (upon rows) of 400+ year old cedar trees tower over travellers making their way from Chusha to Okusha, two of the five shrines. 🥰
TOP TIP: To see Togakushi Shrine like this, it’s best to plan for a visit in late January.
