Churaumi Aquarium is one place you must visit when in Okinawa! You probably have already seen the beautiful pictures and videos, especially of the famous “Kuroshio Sea”, the world’s 2nd largest tank. And yes, it is absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. I think I spent about 45 minutes just gazing at the huge sharks, mantas, and smaller inhabitants…
A truly great day out when on the main island of Okinawa. Not to forget, what many do not know, Churaumi Aquarium is only on of many museums and attraction that makes the bigger “Ocean Expo Park”. For example, why not go and see a short dolphin show for free or feed some sea turtles? Or head up to Emerald Beach for a quick swim?
Definitely worth visiting if you are in Okinawa and find yourself with some extra free time on your hands 🙂
