This tower was constructed as the Nagoya TV tower for tourism and radio wave transmission for TV broadcasting during the postwar reconstruction and city planning of Nagoya, and was completed in 1954 ( Showa 24 ).
Nagoya TV tower Co., Ltd. has formed a partnership with Chubu Electric Power Co., Inc. in community symbiosis activities, promoted regional revitalization, and will cooperate to further revitalize the Chubu region, Along with this, it was newly started in May 2021 under the new name “Chubu Electric Power MIRAI TOWER”.
