Ochanomizu gives the impression of being a town of musical instruments, snow and mountain equipment, and diners, but it is also a town with many shrines and religious facilities.
Kanda Myojin Shrine is famous, but Yushima Seido, dedicated to Confucius, and Holy Resurrection Cathedral of the Holy Japanese Orthodox Church are scattered around the station.
I mainly walked along the streets off the main street of Ochanomizu, so there were few pedestrians and the atmosphere was calm.
