On a warm weekday when the lockdown was lifted, I walked along the Meguro River, where the cherry blossoms were in full bloom.
This year, due to infectious disease control measures, no drinking or partying is allowed sitting along the river.
It is recommended to walk on the right side of the river, one way, to see the view.
However, drinking, eating and drinking itself was not prohibited, so the restaurants along the river were selling fancy food and wine that you could eat and drink.
