Aso-Kuju National Park, Kumamoto (熊本県阿蘇くじゅう国立公園) – Mt. Aso Nakadake Crater (阿蘇中岳火口) 2020 Dec. 20

We got up close (but not TOO close) to a very active Nakadake Crater (阿蘇中岳火口), which is still extremely active and was emitting massive amounts of white smoke… so much so that we were unable to get to the very edge of the rim this day.
