Dhauli Hills Shanti Stupa is also known as the white peace pagoda. It was built by the Japan Buddha Sangha and Kalinga Nippon Buddha Sanga in the 1970s. The edicts of Dhauli are very famous as they were composed from the Brahmi script and Prakrit language was used to proclaim the beliefs and principles of Buddhism to the world.

About : Dhauli Giri Shanti Stupa, also known as Peace Pagoda, is a Buddhist structure built jointly in 1972 by the Japan Buddha Sangh and the Kalinga Nippon Buddha Sangh.
Location : Dhauli is located on the banks of the river Daya, 8 km south of Bhubaneswar in Odisha, India. Dhauli hill is presumed to be the area where the Kalinga War was fought.
