Ponte de Lima is an impressive town with 44,000 inhabitants. It is located in the north of Portugal in the district of Viana do Castelo. The town is named (Ponte) after the beautiful medieval bridge over the river Lima. Ponte de Lima is also know for its outstanding wine: the Vino Verde.
