Katsuo-ji(応頂山 勝尾寺) is a beautiful temple with many paths and lots of landscaping. Katsu means victory in Japanese. This temple represents “victory” for anything. Winning doesn’t necessarily mean beating others. You can win against who you used be or who you were last year. You can win over your weakness or something you’re not very good at.
Minoh Falls (sometimes spelled as Mino or Minoo) is a main natural attraction within the mountains of Minoh Park which is open to the public free of charge. It is 33 meters high with a 5 meter width and falls right before your eyes. The hiking path to Minoh Waterfall starts with a short walk North of Minoh Station. It takes about 45 minutes or approxiamately 3 km to walk up along the Minoh river until you reach the Minoh Falls.
