I had a blast going to the snow festival in the early 90’s, so last year I brought my wife. I wasn’t sure if she’d like the cold weather or how she’d react to a completely different culture, but not only did she have fun, she can’t wait to return! Since I moved from Okinawa in 1997, I wasn’t sure how much Japanese I retained, fortunately I remembered enough to get around.
