Okinawa’s main island has a lot to offer and one fun place to visit while you are here is Chatan!
Located about 1h from Naha (there is even a direct bus) it is a great day trip offering beaches and plenty of things to see and do. So, join me as I explore Chatan, have a look at the beautiful Miyagi Coast and Ahara Beach, and of course the colorful American Village, including Depot Island with its shops and restaurants. There is so much to see and do and it is so different from the rest of Okinawa’s main island. Definitely worth a trip!
