On April 26, I released a video from the day before the lockdown, and this is Shinjuku in the middle of the lockdown.
To be precise, this is not a lockdown, but a State of Emergency, which is unique to Japan.
In Japan, due to historical reasons, the government has not been given strong powers such as curfews and fines.
As a result, we can only request that individuals use their own judgment to control their behavior.
For this video, I walked the same route as last time as much as possible so that I could see the changes during the State of Emergency.
The big commercial facilities were closed and the crowds were less than half of what they had been.
