A wander through Ayikoshidai will take you back in time to over 300 million years ago when this was a reef at the bottom of the sea. Now that the sea has receded, you can walk through rocky grassland trails that wind around limestone spires. 👣
TOP TIP: Also here visit Akiyoshido, the limestone caverns under Akiyoshidai that form the largest subterranean system in Japan.
