岩手県北上市にある北上展勝地(北上市立公園展勝地）は今から約100年前に設立されました。「さくらの名所100選」「みちのく三大桜名所」に選定されており、東北有数の桜の名所として全国的に知られています。
展勝地内には2kmの桜並木があり、約1万本の桜の花が咲き誇ります。
Kitakami Tenshochi , located in Kitakami City, Iwate Prefecture, was established about 100 years ago.
It has been selected as one of the 100 best cherry blossom viewing spots and one of the three best cherry blossom viewing spots in Michinoku, and is known throughout Japan as one of the best cherry blossom viewing spots in Tohoku.
