Today is Children’s Day in Japan! 🧒🎏
The Carp Streamers swimming in the sky above the river at Tsuetate-onsen Hot Springs, Kumamoto Prefecture, are put up every year to signify the coming of Children’s Day. Although the event had to be scaled down this year, the value of the cultural tradition passed from generation to generation each year on this day would not change.
