I have been wanting to go to Okinawa for years and finally made it! Although it is fair to say there is “Okinawa” and then there is “Okinawa”. The main island is much different from the islands and it’s worth doing a bit of research before you book your trip.
So I am bringing you with me, first to “Naha” the capital of Okinawa, and easily accessible via Naha Airport, also a great gateway to together places. I will show you around, Kokusai street, Makishi Market, and Naminoue Beach, and also show you the “Pork Tamago” a “Sandwich” like no other and a must-eat when on the island. It is so good you will miss this once you had it….
