八郎潟（はちろうがた）は湖ですが、もともと国内２位の面積を誇った湖の大部分が干拓によって陸地化されました。その広大な八郎潟の干拓地を貫く直線の長い道があり、春にはその道の両側に菜の花畑と桜並木がどこまでも続く風景を楽しめます。
浜館公園（はまだてこうえん）は、日本海と鳥海山を展望できる抜群のロケーションに、桜の森が広がる隠れた桜名所です。
真人公園（まとこうえん）は、真人山をバックに池や広場が整備された公園で、「日本さくら名所100選」に選定された桜名所です。
角館（かくのだて）は、「みちのく三大桜名所」の一つで、武家屋敷通りに咲きそろう巨大なしだれ桜群と、武家屋敷通りのすぐ近くを流れる桧木内川堤の桜並木の二つの見所があります。
北上展勝地（きたかみてんしょうち）も、「みちのく三大桜名所」の一つで、北上川の東岸の堤に国内随一の桜並木が見られます。北上川を行く遊覧船も風情がありますし、川の両岸をまたいで多数の鯉のぼりが風に泳ぐ様も素晴らしいです。
高松公園（たかまつこうえん）は、「高松の池」の周囲に桜並木が続く桜名所で、「日本さくら名所100選」に選定されています。雄大な岩手山も展望でき、「高松の池」の奥にある「芝水園（しすいえん）」という釣堀公園もオススメで、のんびりとお花見を楽しむことができます。
芦野公園（あしのこうえん）は、津軽半島のつけ根にある公園で、「日本さくら名所100選」に選定された桜名所です。人工池に隣接して公園が整備されており、津軽鉄道の列車が敷地を横切って、桜のトンネルを通り過ぎてゆくシーンも印象的です。
岩木山（いわきさん）は、弘前市の西方にそびえる山で、その山麓にはリンゴ園など、のどかな田園風景が広がっています。桜を追いかけるようにリンゴの白い花も咲き始め、春の風物詩となっています。

Kakunodate is one of the three most famous cherry blossom viewing spots in Michinoku, with two main attractions: the huge weeping cherry trees that bloom along the samurai residence street, and the rows of cherry trees along the banks of the Hinokinai River that runs near the samurai residence street.
Kitakami Tenshochi is also one of the three best cherry blossom viewing spots in Michinoku, and has the best rows of cherry trees in Japan on the east bank of the Kitakami River. The sightseeing boats along the Kitakami River are a sight to behold, and the many carp streamers swimming in the breeze across both banks of the river are a wonderful sight.
Takamatsu Park is a famous cherry blossom viewing spot with rows of cherry trees around the Takamatsu Pond, and is selected as one of the 100 best cherry blossom viewing spots in Japan. You can also enjoy a view of the majestic Mt. Iwate, and the fishpond park called Shisuien, located behind Takamatsu Pond, is also recommended for a relaxing cherry blossom viewing experience.
Ashino Park, located at the base of the Tsugaru Peninsula, is a famous cherry blossom viewing spot selected as one of the 100 best cherry blossom viewing spots in Japan. The park is located next to an artificial pond, and the scene of a Tsugaru Railway train crossing the park and passing through a tunnel of cherry blossoms is impressive.
Iwaki-san is a mountain that rises to the west of Hirosaki City, and at the foot of the mountain is a peaceful countryside with apple orchards. At the foot of the mountain, there is a tranquil countryside with apple orchards. The white blossoms of apples begin to bloom as if chasing after the cherry blossoms, making it a typical spring scene.
