Onnaiwa (literally ‘Woman Rock’) presents an incredible view against a mountainous backdrop. πŸŒŠβ›° Located just off the Amaharashi Coast, this area in Toyama Prefecture is a must-see when around Kanazawa and the Noto Peninsula, with its white sandy beaches, rocky outcrops and delicious fresh seafood. It’s easy to see why it has long given inspiration to poets and artists!

πŸ“Access: From Shin-Takaoka Station take the JR Johana Line to Takaoka then change to the JR Himi line and alight at Amaharashi Station. The rock is around a 10 minute walk from there.
