Mt.Asama is where devils live.Mt. Asama stretches from Gunma Prefecture to Nagano Prefecture and reaches 2,568 meters in elevation.
This volcanic park is located in foot of Mt. Asama, between Nagano and Gunma.
Magma Stone Park is covered with lava rock which spewed from Mt. Asama in a major eruption over 200 years ago.
Also known as Onioshidashi Park, the area receives its name from the impression of the people who witnessed the eruption, saying that it was as if a devil turned violent in the crater and was pushing out rocks.
In addition to the lava rocks, the park features seasonal plants for visitors to enjoy.
if you use Shinkansen bullet train, it is conveniently close to Tokyo.
Karuizawa is the perfect place for any traveler looking to experience the beauty of nature!!!
