I absolutely adore the Moomin Valley Park in Saitama Japan. It’s only about an hour or an hour and a half, by train from Tokyo, but it feels like a whole different country.
The atmosphere is so relaxed and its really nice to get away from the busy city feel of Tokyo every so often.
The park has several main attractions:
The Moomin House Tour
The Museum
The Little My and The Ocean Orchestra indoor shows
The Outdoor Theatre
The Hobgoblin Zipline
An Outdoor Playground
As well as many smaller photo-spots, displays, shops and restaurants.
This is my second time visiting and I definitely plan on visiting again.
