Planning to travel Japan during the winter? Good idea! If you’re a wintersport fanatic like me, Japan is the best place to visit during the cold winter days. Not only does Japan offer the most breathtaking views, they also offer various places to enjoy your winter sports. I went to Niigata (again) with Hiroshi and we ended up staying in Echigo-Yuzawa, and skied for one day in Ishiuchi. We were told that this is maybe the biggest and best area to go skiing. But of course our oba-chan from our hotel was probably biased so I am not sure if this is true, but we defintely had a lot of fun for one day!
