Ouchi-juku looks absolutely mesmerising when blanketed in snow! ❄️ But then again, it also looks pretty impressive in spring with the the sakura blossoms, or in summer with its verdant foliage too! 🌸🌳☀️

This historical post town from the Edo Period has been beautifully preserved, with traditional thatched-roof buildings over 300 years old and streets with running water on either side.

💡 TIP: Make sure to try Ouchi-juku’s delicious handmade soba noodles when visiting. Interestingly, instead of chopsticks, you are given a leek to use as cutlery!
