This time, I took a walk in the Maruyama shopping street in Sapporo. Maruyama area is a high-class residential area in Sapporo. There used to be an old market called “Maruyama Ichiba”. It was crowded with residents of the Maruyama area. Unfortunately, the market was demolished in 2010. Currently, there are a few shops left on the first floor of the condominium as “Mini Maruyama Ichiba”. Condominiums are being built more and more in Maruyama, but I hope that the scenery of the old Maruyama will remain.

今回は，札幌にある円山商店街を歩いてみました．円山地区は札幌の高級住宅街です．かつてここには「まるやまいちば」という市場があり，多くの住民で賑わっていました．しかし残念ながら市場は2010年に取り壊れてしまいました．今は「ミニまるやまいちば」としてマンションの1階で数店舗が営業しています．円山はどんどんマンションが建設されますが，古き良き円山の姿は残してもらいたいものです．
