Costco first came to Japan in 1999. There are now 26 Costco’s in Japan. There are the usual items famous at all warehouses, but there are also many country-specific items for the Japanese consumer. I went to the Izumi City Costco in Osaka Prefecture, Japan. It was a pretty busy Saturday, even with the recent spike in coronavirus cases.
