🙋🏾♀️ What’s up, Fam Bam?! 💥 We have finally started our journey to move to Okinawa, Japan!!! 🇯🇵 Our first flight ✈️ was from San Diego, California 🏝 to Seattle, Washington 🌧 . We actually missed this flight!! We got to the airport super early ⛅️ but had some mishaps and ended up missing our flight! 😭 We were able to get the military to book us another flight that same day tho, thank God 🙌🏾! So we ended up flying to Seattle later that day! We spent one night there in a hotel 🏨 .
The next morning 🌞 we woke up super early!!! We headed to the airport 4 hours prior to our flight ✈️ leaving. We flew on a military flight to Yokota, Japan 🇯🇵 . For that layover we were not at a conventional airport. We were on a military base where they had vending machines for snacks 🍪 and drinks 🥤 . The flight from Seattle to Yokota was 10 hours long!!!!! 😱
We then left Yokota and flew to Okinawa, Japan 🇯🇵 , our final destination! When we got there, our sponsor met us 🤝 at the airport and helped us load all TEN 😳 of our bags 💼 under the shuttle bus 🚌 that took us to our first hotel. We stayed in the WestPac Lodge for 2 weeks, stuck inside the hotel on quarantine 😭 !! We were given one hour every other day to spend time outside 🏃🏾♀️ in a small, confined area. Stay tuned for that quarantine video 🤣!!
