Thursday’s ‘Farewell Meeting’ in our pit box got a bit emotional… But for all the right reasons.

After this weekend theYamaha Factory Racing MotoGP Team will not only be saying goodbye to @valeyellow46 after 15 MotoGP seasons together, they will also be saying goodbye to Brent Stephens (Mechanic since 1999), Alex Briggs (Mechanic since 2004), and Javier Ullate (Mechanic since 2003), who will be leaving Yamaha after 2020, as well as Matteo Flamigni (Data Engineer since 2000), David Muñoz (Crew Chief since 2020), and Idalio Gavira (Rider Performance Analyst since 2019), who will join Valentino at Petronas Yamaha SRT in 2021.

The team wants to sincerely thank all of them for their hard work and the great memories. They contributed a lot to Yamaha’s racing legacy. Thank you for being part of the Yamaha Family!
