Night walk in Tokyo Shibuya Japan – Visit of the new Miyashita park 2020

During this walk, we will first take a walk through the busy streets of Shibuya, before visiting the rooftop of Miyashita Park.
Shibuya just received a new landmark called Miyashita Park. In a sense, calling it new is a bit of a stretch, as this place, originally a park between the Yamanote Line railroad tracks, and Meiji Dori, one of Shibuya’s main roads, has been around for a long time. But the whole neighborhood was recently rebuilt from the ground up and is now home to a shopping complex with tons of cool, hip stores. Something that vaguely resembles the original park has been recreated on the roof of the shopping complex. As before, it is home to a skateboard park, green spaces as well as a small nook where people can try out the basic block.
