Hello folks! As the title above says, I am looking for any recommendations for restaurants that serve Wagyu. I am admittedly probably falling for the hype of the famous beef, but it’s made me curious enough to want to try it… but preferably not at a high class restaurant that pad the price not only for the beef but for the ‘experience’ of the restaurant. Something smaller is what I’m looking for!
My partner and I’s travel plan would be 2-ish days for a quick Tokyo visit, then the rest would be in Osaka and Kyoto, so any recommendations would have to be there.
I’ve seen wagyu sandwiches as an option, but that feels like it doesn’t do the meat justice? If that makes any sense I’m more hoping for something like a teppanyaki meal, or an actual steak, but I think a full blown steak would be too much. My partner doesn’t eat beef, so the restaurant should also serve other meats or seafood and the like.
I did find one place ( https://www.t-ranma.com/menu ) but the non beef options for my partner are rather limited, and I was hoping for any other recommendations! Most of what i’ve found on google are the high priced or high class restaurants, so I was hoping that someone might have personal experience going to a place like I’m looking for.
My budget would probably be around 80 dollars? Looking online that seems to be a middle spot rather than exorbitantly expensive.
