Landscape Photography in Japan: Okutama Lake in Tokyo・日本の風景写真: 奥多摩湖(東京都西多摩郡)

In this video, we enjoy some landscape photography around Okutama Lake in Tokyo, Japan.

Opportunities for hiking and photography are in abundance at this site. Various popular subjects include the dam, the lake, mountain mist, heavily forested woodlands, and seasonal colors like cherry trees in spring and autumn leaves in fall. If you arrive early enough in the morning, you might be lucky enough to catch some wildlife as well.

Aside from photography, the area includes many easily accessible trails for nice strolls in the woods, with various outlook points with beautiful views.

The location is accessible by car (free parking), tour bus, and public transportation (bus and train).
