When planning our Japan trip we wanted to experience as many different areas as we could. We did Tokyo for a few days, the Nagano mountains, and decided to stop along the Western coast on our way to Kyoto. Something we both really wanted to do was tour a Sake distillery and Kanazawa has a really great one that came highly recommended + a lot of things to see and do!

-Kenroku-en: One of only 3 ‘perfect gardens’ in Japan, this park is designed to be beautiful during every season.
-Higashi Chaya District: feels like Kyoto but less crowded

-Omicho Fish Market
