I love Hiking in Japan and there is nothing scary about Aokigahara Forest. It’s beautiful.

This was a day hike near Tokyo in Autumn 2020 through Japan’s Aokigahara Forest. started from the Lake Saiko bat cave and we did a trekking loop. It’s pretty impossible to get lost. The hiking trails are well marked. Don’t let the moniker “suicide forest” scare you away. You can see this location is full of beauty and is perfect for a hiking day trip from Tokyo or elsewhere in the region of Fuji Five Lakes. You’ll have an excellent time exploring and sightseeing this forest, built on top of lava flow from Mount Fuji many many moons ago. I hope everyone can take a day trip here and see for yourself the Jukai deserves much more than the scary things people like to take about. I for one think it’s absolutely beautiful. Those drone shots were stunning, no? Hiking in Japan. I’m back! Please travel to this forest and see for yourself.

Highly HIGHLY recommended from Rock Eastwood
