SHIBAMATA: EXPLORE TOKYO'S HIDDEN FOODIE AND CULTURAL SPOT | GLOBAL CITIZENSHIP x BYFOOD

#SHIBAMATA #TOKYO #STREETFOOD

Shibamata is a small-ish town just within the outskirts of Central Tokyo. Though small, it is a site worthy of a visit for those who are into Japanese pop culture.

It is the location of the movie/episodes of Otoko wa Tsuraiyo! A really well known Japanese film that is reflective of Japanese life and is a point of common ground for locals.

It is also the site of some really deep and hidden foodie areas and is home to some extremely tasty food options.

If you’re looking for a decent guide to this rich place and want to hit some recommended food spots, the team at The Global Citizenship and ByFood, Japan’s premier Social food platform has teamed up to bring you the latest finds in this area.

Check them out and let us know your spots if any!

ByFood Japan is the premier site where most of the famous vendors that offer Japan’s premium food experiences and food tours are found.

What I love about the people here as that they dedicate a part of your proceeds to feeding children through their Food For Happiness network.

It enables you to enjoy food whilst giving a child an opportunity to enjoy theirs as well.
