With the world still very much in the grip of Covid-19 and international travel off the cards, my summer vacation of 2020 was spent on the self-governing South Korean island of Jeju. Over three days I circled Jeju travelling clockwise, passing attractions like Seongsan Ilchulbong, Jungmun Beach, Jeongbang Falls and Gwakji Gwamul. Jeju is often called the ‘Hawaii of Asia’ with it’s resemblance to the Pacific Paradise and locals flock there en masse like moths to a flame. Enjoy this cinematic retrospective of my time on Jeju-do, with a compilation of footage shot on my DJI Mavic Mini, DJI Osmo Action and stills from the Sony a6300.
