Trivia: Tokyo was so hot but Hokkaido was chilly! I expected it but this temperature difference is what makes you really realize that you have come all the way to Hokkaido! Unfortunately it rained during most of our stay but it doesn’t matter underground. In winter it snows very heavily in Hokkaido and this underground walkway is something you should really take advantage of in Sapporo. Check out this video before you visit Sapporo in winter!
