Shinkansen Bullet Train I Japan #shinkansen #japan #bullettrain

The Shinkansen, colloquially known in English as the bullet train, is a network of high-speed railway lines in Japan. Initially, it was built to connect distant Japanese regions with Tokyo, the capital, to aid economic growth and development.
On each of the Shinkansen lines there are fast trains,
semi-fast trains, and local trains. The fast trains only
stop at the main stations, semi-fast trains make a
few more stops, and local trains stop at every station.
