Omurice or Omu-rice is one of the popular yōshoku, westernized food developed in Japan, consisting of ketchup rice wrapped thin fried egg and often additional ketchup on top. It’s severed cafe and restaurants and cooked at home as well.

▫️Ingredients for two servings
-Pre-cooked rice, 400g
-One diced green pepper
-One half of minced onion
-Three pieces sausage, cross-sectional
-One clove of garlic, minced
-Olive oil, 1tbsp
-Ketchup, 12tbsp
-Butter, 5g
-Salt and black pepper, a little
-Four beaten eggs
▫️Method
1. Dice green pepper and mince half of the onion, the garlic.
2. Cut the sausage into round slices.
3. Heat a pan and coat with olive oil, and cook the garlic until browned.
4. Add the onion and cook it until it gets soft. Add ketchup and heat it for a while to remove its sourness.
5. Add green pepper and butter, mix a little.
6. Sprinkle salt and black pepper after put rice and mix well.
7. Cook beaten eggs in another pan, and wrap and serve the rice using the edge of a pan.
