The Setouchi Triennale Art Festival 2019 is held in the middle of Japan on islands in Okayama and Kagawa prefectures in between Honshu and Shikoku islands.

This Shamijima location is only taking part in the festival until the end of May 26, 2019. If you miss the art-festival, however, don’t worry as this facility has many other permanent attractions to enjoy at any time of year.

The Setouchi-Triennale Art Festival art featured in this video:

+ ‘Stratums’ by Tanya Preminger (grassy hill to climb) [Russia-Israel artist]
+ ‘Love Nine-legged race, Love’ by Syuzo Fujimoto (colorful bench in front of the view of the bridge) [Japanese artist]

Shamijima is easily accessible by car (no ferry needed) from both Honshu island (via the Seto-Ohashi bridge) and Shikoku islands.
