Tara in Saga Prefecture is known to have many shrines where you can see torii gates “floating” in the sea. Take the floating torii gates of Oouo Shrine for example, which stand near the shore of the ocean. There is a 6 meter (20 feet) tide difference, so the deepness of the torii against the water will always look different.
