If you’re looking for chill places in Tokyo to get away from the busy, craziness of the city, Yanesen is the perfect place to spend a relaxing afternoon strolling around. It’s a little off the beaten track, and a good place to visit on your second or third trip to Japan. There’s Japanese street food, souvenirs and snacks along Yanaka Ginza, a famous cemetery with stray cats, photogenic streets and alleyways, temples and Nezu Shrine – a mini version of Fushimi Inari in Kyoto with all the red tori gates.
