Okinawa Castles, Zakimi Jo
Zakimi Castle Ruins was registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in November of 2000, along with Shuri Castle Ruins. Looking west from the hilltop of the castle ruins, you can see Cape Zanpa, and the Kerama Islands on a clear day, and the scenery around the castle is quite stunning. Local musician, and flute-maker, Mr. Gotan Masa plays a tune for us that seems to bring the history of the ancient castle to life. Learn more about this local artisan @masa.gottan

2000年11月、首里城跡などと共にユネスコの世界遺産（文化遺産）に登録された、座喜味城跡。城跡の高台から西側を望むと残波岬や、晴れた日には慶良間諸島も眺めることができ、森を抜けた後に広がる景色がとても神秘的です。今回は様々な場所で活躍をしている、竹笛の制作者、また自作の笛で演奏もされている、ゴタン・マサさんと共にコラボレーションをさせて頂きました。座喜味城跡をバックに演奏される姿は、座喜味城が刻んできた歴史を新たに呼び覚ましてくれます。彼の笛が気になるという方はぜひマサさんのインスタグラムのページで直接お問い合わせ下さい。これからも彼とのコラボレーションを、どうぞお楽しみに！@masa.gottan
