Trivia: These days there are many female office workers in Japan too but still Shimbashi is known as a salary men’s town or oyaji’s town. Oyaji means “old man” or/and “dad” and I heard people call New Shimbashi Building (shown at the end of the video) “Oyaji building”. Like I said in the video the word “salary men” carries some kind of a melancholic feeling but it was good that they looked pretty much happy after hours.
