The Unosu Cliffs in Tanohata (鵜の巣断崖) are only really accessible by car (or bicycle I guess). They’re part of the Michinoku Coastal Trail, though only passable when the tide is low enough. The tunnels below the towering cliffs are just magical and glorious. I really love this spot and think it’s even more exciting than the far more famous Kitayamazaki (which I also love of course).
