This video demonstrates the truly amazing results you can achieve using high quality full frame EF mount lenses from Canon, Tamron, and Tokina on the Panasonic Lumix G9 and a Viltrox EFM2 adapter. The lenses that are demonstrated are the:
1- Canon EF 24-105mm F/4 L MK I
2- Canon EF 70-200mm F/4 L USM
3- Tokina ATX AF 100mm F/2.8 Macro (1:2 – Old version)
4- Tamron SP Di 90mm F/2.8 Macro (1:1)
The maximum aperture is increased by one stop by the Viltrox EFM2 mount adapter and speed booster. The crop factor is 1.41 with this adapter. Note that the lens OIS does not work with the IBIS of the G9 and must be shut off. Only the Canon EF 24-105mm of the four lenses demonstrated has OIS. However, for lenses without stabilized bodies such as the Lumix G7, the lens OIS when turned on does remove the hand jitter when shooting video.
