On day 7 of our Japan trip, we went to Miyajima Island via ferry. The ferry is included in our JR All Area pass. Miyajima is a small island with beautiful bay view and wild deers roaming freely around. It is famous for its oyster, and of course we had so many yummy street food there. One of it was the oyster curry bun, and we had second serving and even brought extra back to Osaka!
We were supposed to visit the Itsukushima shrine on Miyajima island but it was under renovation. 🙁
We then headed to Hiroshima for the Atomic Peace memorial park and museum. The scenes in the museum of very sad to watch and hence out of respect we did not record much of it. We pray for world peace and no more war.
Hiroshima is also famous for its own okonomiyaki so we never missed trying it before leaving the town. On the way back to Osaka, we accidentally saw our favourite apple pie chain in Japan, RINGO!! We grabbed as many as we could and devoured it in the shinkansen! We ate Ringo apple custard pie during our first trip in Japan 2 years back and had never forgotten about the taste since. It was so yummy we had to fight over the last piece! This awesome apple custard pie deserves the full video of us enjoying it. XD
Try at your own risk if you visit Japan, it is very addictive!
