Trivia: When I lived in US, Chinese food was an inexpensive casual food to me. But in Japan, Chinese food (in Chinatown especially) is considered somewhat expensive high-class food. Well, of course, not all the restaurants in Chinatown are expensive but at least I have such an impression toward Chinese food in Japan’s Chinatown in general.
