This field of green Kochia bushes turns fiery red in the fall, making the hills of Hitachi Seaside Park look like they are covered with giant lychees. The park is famous for baby blue eye Nemophila and has flowers blooming year-round. The Kochia shrub, also known as the Mexican fire brush, sports its fall colors until the end of October.
