Katsuren Castle | UNESCO World Heritage Site | Okinawa | Japan

Katsuren Castle is part of the UNESCO World Heritage sites in Okinawa, Japan. This castle was responsible for looking after the central portion of the island.

This castle was ruled by Amawai, who was the successor of Gosamaru. Amawari brought great wealth to the area by trading with other nations as well as mainland Japan.
