Almost six years to the day, I cycled around the ancient village of Asuka in Nara Prefecture, Japan. I drove by my car and parked at a nearby “Michi no Eki”, took out my bike and went around discovering ancient temples, kofuns, stone structures and ruins.
If you don’t have a bike, you can rent one at the station. Although the footage is a bit old, I thought it would still be fun to watch given the present lockdown situation because of the COVID-19.
